DSM Dejo expanded metal is produced from a flat sheet of steel, aluminium or stainless steel. The "wobble shape" is created by simultaneously punching, stretching and possibly deforming the material. This creates openings in the material without loss of material. The variation in mesh patterns is endless and this makes the product extremely suitable for e.g. wall cladding, awnings and partitions.
