DPG DEJO PRESS GRATINGS

The dejo grating DPG is a widely used type for normal walking loads. The load on a grating is determined by the interplay of forces of span, bearing bars and mesh pattern.

More span gives more deflection and thus a lower load. A denser mesh pattern gives more bearer bars per grating and thus allows a higher load.

Applying heavier bearer bars is also a possibility to apply a higher load.

The DPG grating with bearing bar 30-2, filling bar 10-2 and meshes 33x33 is considered the standard "dejo grating" and can be produced any size up to a maximum of 3000 mm in length or width.

The various meshes

Dejo offers the possibility of producing gratings in different mesh sizes. Usually, press gratings are produced as standard in mesh 33.33 x 33.33 mm. But dejo can produce gratings in many different meshes: e.g. 11x22 mm, 22x11 mm and 22x33 mm etc.

The mesh table below shows the various possibilities.

More than 300 articles are delivered from stock from our warehouse in Wolvega. Products ordered before 11.00 are delivered the next days throughout the EU. 

Grid specifications
Bearer bars see table, filler bars 10 x 2 mm. 
Mesh width of bearing and filling bars 33.33 mm centres. 
A tolerance on length and width of + 0 to - 4 mm applies to the grating dimensions. 
The first dimension indicates the length of the bearer bars (span), which must be supported at the ends.
